When you click on Relavint Visual Link Analysis in your search results, a diagram will display showing the possible relatives and associates, vehicles, property, and businesses that we can link to the subject. In addition, known criminal records and concealed weapons permits for any of the people in the diagram will be identified.
When the Relavint diagram initially opens, you may need to wait a few seconds for the objects to "settle." The greater the number of objects being generated, the longer it will take for the diagram to display and "settle." You will not be able to perform any actions until the information for the diagram generates. Additionally, the initial diagram will not display addresses, as addresses are defaulted "off."
- Relavint Legend. The left side of the Relavint diagram shows several legends.
- Nodes Legends This legend shows the icons associated with the objects in the diagram. For example, People have an icon of a person next to them.
- Relationships Legend This legend shows the colors of the lines, or relationships, between two objects in the diagram. For example, a Relative relationship will be a blue line while a business relationship will be green.
- Controls These are found at the bottom of the legend area and include:
- Full This will automatically change the zoom of the diagram to fit the full diagram into the display area.
- Zoom Choose your own zoom level. You can "Zoom in" or "Zoom out."
- Spring This is the default layout of the diagram. The "spring" layout sprays the objects around the subject.
- Circle A "circle" layout groups like objects together and displays them in a circle. Note: Circle layout works best if the diagram contains a larger number of objects.
- Force Directed This button allows you to re-center the Relavint diagram within the display area.
- Hierarchy The "hierarchy" layout displays the objects below the subject in priority.
- Download The "Download" link will allow you to save your diagram to your computer as an image PNG.
- Turning On/Off Relavint Items
- The Nodes Legend checkboxes located in the upper left-hand corner of the Relavint screen allow you to turn on/off entire selections. For example, to turn on the Addresses, which are defaulted to off, click the "Addresses" checkbox and you will now see all current and prior addresses for the subject. If you do not wish to view all of the Vehicles, turn the "Vehicles" checkbox off.
- Expanding Object Links
- You can expand your view of a particular object by double-clicking on the object. By expanding the view, related objects will display for the object you double-clicked. For example, to see all people, businesses or addresses associated with a Vehicle, simply double-click on the vehicle. This capability is available on People, Vehicles, Addresses, and Businesses.
- Moving Nodes Within Relavint
- When the Relavint diagram initially opens, you can wait a few seconds for the objects to "settle." Once the diagram has stopped moving, you can drag the objects anywhere on the diagram. For example, if you wish to view the Relatives linked to the subject in a different location on the diagram, put your mouse on the object you wish to move and drag the object. Note: If you click and drag on the object's icon, the entire diagram will move.
- When ordering Relavint from Business Search may return higher frequency of Associated Businesses and Business Contacts, it is recommended to utilize the "Circle" control as it groups similar objects together, and by turning on/off related items by Nodes to display the most relevant connections.
- Printing the Relavint Diagram
